Cohiba Puro Dominicana Robusto
This cigar has some great potential, but I think it could have used a
bit more humi time. Draw was a bit tight and burn was a not great. The
flavor profile on the first handful of puffs was a bit off, but it did
open up after a bit. Unfortunately when it hit the final third it kept
wanting to go out and with the tighter draw I didn't have luck keeping
it going. Make no mistake though, this cigar has some shinning
moments...I just wish they lasted longer.

Carlos Torano Master Churchill
Had the privileged of smoking the 'Master' by Carlos Torano, and this
stick has easily soared into my top Cigar slot. Not only was it a
beautiful looking cigar with its dark, Ecuadoran Habano wrapper, but it
was one of the most unique cigars I've ever smoked! Right away I picked
up on the chocolaty floral and dried fruit notes that blasted me out of
the gate. The cigar was very smooth with only a slight spice through the
nose. The only thing I wasn't fully impressed by with this cigar was
the burn. I did have to touch it up after most ash drops, but I would be
interested to see how this changes with some added aging time. I will
be buying more of these despite them being a bit harder to track down. I
suggest you do the same!

Diesel (6 x 54)
The Diesel is a real winner! Yet another masterpiece from the hands of
AJ Fernandez, this cigar really packs a punch. Some very interesting
sage notes were coming through pretty heavily with some sweet spice and
hints of chocolate and leather on the finish. This was a terrific after
dinner cigar, and one I will be keeping as a regular in my humidor!

Carlos Torano Noventa Santiago
I'll preface this review by saying that I don't think Torano makes a bad cigar. I haven't had them all but everyone that I have had have been spot on!
The Carlos Torano Noventa was a fantastically mellow and creamy cigar with a slight honey sweetness to it. The burn and draw were excellent and the flavor profile remained fairly consistent throughout. This is definitely a cigar worth stocking!

Nica Libre Potencia Churchill Extra
The Nica Libre Potencia is a fantastic cigar for the money! I've had some draw issues with these, but the profile of this cigar is spot on. It has a beautiful, reddish Habano wrapper and a full body punch. It's not overly peppery at all, but it lets you know it's there. Probably not it could border between full and med/full but it has a nice body to it. It's pretty smooth with a smack of sweetness (maybe a bit of cinnamon?). I've heard this cigar compared with the Oliva V, and I can tell you that having smoked both there are some similarities! The Oliva V may be a "better quality" smoke overall but what the Potencia may lack in complexity, it sure makes up for in cost!!

Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Robusto
This cigar has a dark, oily wrapper with a dense pack. The cigar had a steady and even throughout with a medium draw, which is to be expected given the firm construction. The flavor profile is primarily a slightly sweet, woodsy tobacco with a moderate to low spice on the finish. Smoke output is good and the retro-hale is quite pleasant. Overall a much meatier smoke than anticipated. Ash holds on for over an inch at a time and was slightly flaky. Cigar burns good with no major touch ups required. This cigar was paired with an amaretto. Pretty good cigar!
